Today i had my first run this week it was a 25km pump/push/walk becores of snow, but it was so nice to get out and run a board. Normaly i skate evey day, so a hole week just wating on the snow to get of the roads. Now i have a big smil, and it also help i just got a cd with seasick steve great Music.
...that's awesome! It's so great to be able to get out, regardless of temps. For me, skating is a form of meditation, so not being able to do it is a bummer...but I always go by the saying that, "there is no bad weather, just bad clothes"!!! Take care and skate with soul!!

Thank you and same to you . You are right, there is no bad weather, just bad clothes . Skating is for me a plase where i skate and listen to music, a look a the nature around me, it is for me the only way to relax mentality, like you said skating is meditation.
Skaters should overwinter in southern California, haha.
Totally with you guys on the meditative qualities of longboarding, where it stops being about getting from point a to point b, and just about the infinite moment. Kind of a John Lennon watchin'-the-wheels-go-round-and-round thing. Cheers, gentlemen!

Okay, so it's been snowin' all day...I'm ready for a "lost weekend" in So Cal ! I lived in Ventura for about 2+ years and really miss it...at times. But it is as it is and we are where we are. Skating and Eastern thought are helping me to stay more "in the moment" and just enjoy...and that ain't a to bad place to be!! Take care and Roll with Soul.

Sunday, sun is shining and i had a great run , after a week with snow and ich on the roads, it was so great to get out and pump and listening to music Now I am ready to work again, it gives so much energy and make Me smile
