I've yet to see a freebord vid where someone is actually cutting nice clean carves.  It always looks like a lot of side-slipping to me.  If I side slip on my snowboard it's either to check my speed or stop at the bottom.  Otherwise I'm expecting to dig nice S-shaped trenches.  Just a Rant.
